Theme is Horror and Insanity.
At times life becomes too much and the mind begins to rot. Here the mind can come to be healed. The mind and body as one to be cared for. Yet those who come in don't come out.
Please follow all these rules. Penalty for breaking any is suspension and depending on how severe the action possible banning. On second suspension you will be asked to make a public apology when you return.
First and foremost no god modding. No one likes to have their character/plot controlled by an outsider.
Be respectful to all other players this includes in the chat box and pm's. If you do not like another player simply ignore them. A scab only aches if you pick at it.
No one liners. If I see any post that goes something like 'Then he turned his head and smiled softly', I will delete it. Posts should be detailed you can turn that one sentence into 'As he looked at the other he felt a warmth grow in his heart. He had never seen the angelic light that surrounded the other. The corner of his lips curled up slowly into a smile. He felt it taking over his whole face, he was so delighted he thought he would laugh.'
Your characters must be at least 13 years old. We do not suggest making them younger than 16 for plot purposes but if your plot works better with a younger character. The only exception to the nothing under 13 rule is if the character was born on the board as in a female character gave birth to a baby. Please keep in mind this board runs on an average time, no fantasy baby all of a sudden grown or male giving birth is allowed here.
Try to be original with your characters. We don't want ten million killers for hire who were all abused by their parents and seek vengeance for some guy who raped and murdered their sister.
Every time before creating a profile make sure to look at the Taken and Reserved Models list. If you take a model that's already in use or reserved your profile will be automatically rejected.
In event threads if there is a person you do not like avoid their character and play with someone else. This is only to prevent trouble.
Also in event threads make sure to read all post by admin as there will be some parts in bold that will affect all characters in the event.
Do not spam the cbox with constantly asking a person if they are here or not or why haven't they posted. That is definitely frowned upon and will earn you a one day suspension.
Do not respond to profiles, they will be locked once approved. You can post in the character's relationship thread or pm the player if you want to do a plot or relationship.
For claims both sides must support the claim. If the characters are not working out do not force them together merely ask the other person kindly if they want to try someone different.
The Adult section is off limits to inactive members so post and play. Let us know that you are here to stay. You must have at least 30 posts in one account before you can gain access to the adult section. We will automatically pm you with the password when you reach 30 but if you are impatient and now you are sticking around you can ask a staff member to give it you. We withhold the right to refuse.
